Q: Is my Hollywood Fitness membership valid all hours?
A: Yes, you have unlimited use 24 hours a day.
Q: Are you open holidays?
A: We are open normal hours on all holidays except for Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Q: Is your facility staffed overnight
A: Yes, we are staffed 24 hours a day.
Q: What is your security like?
A: Our doors are locked from 8pm-8am and only members can come in at that time with their key tag.
Q: Do you have parking?
A: We have parking for all members behind our building. Enter by turning into the road alongside our building at 52nd avenue. You also may park on the street out front.
Q: What are your amenities?
A: We have a well-equipped weight training room with dozens of machines and 20 tons in free weights, three cardio studios, a multipurpose group exercise area, and locker rooms.
Q: Is the facility crowded?
A: Not usually. The peak times are Mon-Thurs, 4:00pm-7:00pm. January is the busiest month of the year. However, it is rare to have to wait on anything even during the busiest times.
Q: Can I bring a guest?
A: All members can bring a local friend one time for free to test out the gym.
Q: What is the minimum age to become a member?
A: All members under the age of 18 are required to have a parent with at sign-up. Under 15 requires attendance with a parent or guardian. This is a requirement of our liability insurance, so we enforce it strictly.
Q: How do your lockers work?
A: Lockers are free for you to use while working out. We don’t provide locks, so bring your own lock. When you leave the gym, take all personal belongings with you, including the lock.
Q: Do you offer exercise classes?
A: We offer Group Exercise classes. Group Exercise classes are free for all Premium members. We also have a Fitness On Demand workout system that has a database of 100’s of workouts and classes to participate in at any time anywhere.
Q: Is it $19.99 a month for unlimited use?
A: Yes, $19.99 a month gives you unlimited access to our fitness facility. If you prefer, you can upgrade your membership to Premium or Ultimate status, giving you access to the Activtrax custom workout program, Fitness On Demand, Trainer Curated Workouts, as well as the benefits of unlimited Group Exercise classes.
Q: What if I decide to cancel? Are there any cancellation fees?
A: You can give a 30 day notice cancel anytime by coming into Hollywood Fitness and filling out a cancellation form or by calling in to get instructions how to cancel through email. There are no cancellation fees, just your final month’s dues.
Q: Can I pay cash each month or pay in full for a certain amount of time?
A: Most of our memberships are on a month to month draft. This allows us to focus on fitness, not collections, and also gives our members complete control over the length of their memberships. If you want to pay by the month, it has to be on draft (credit / debit card). However, we also offer a twelve-month prepaid membership, for those who are uncomfortable with having their account drafted.
Q: If I cancel and then decide to rejoin, do I have to pay another joining fee?
A: Yes, you would have to pay another joining fee.
